#40Days – Day 2

#40Days #Lent
Jesus’s star couldn’t be ignored, avoided or obscured. That’s good news! When your star rises, many will be attracted to your light. Your focus shouldn’t be on the many attracted but your source.

Amongst the ‘many’ would be fraudsters who by their actions will reveal their hearts. Their intentions will be clearly self-serving, designed to overwhelm and destroy.

Be aware that people’s best intentions mean nothing.

Fraudsters are exposed by their actions. Their intentions clearly self-serving, designed to overwhelm and destroy reveal a contradiction. Dangerous as vipers are they and their smooth words nonetheless should be avoided. They reveal who they are…for words alone do not make great men or women.

Herod was a fraud…his words and actions were exact opposites.
Herod was a ‘worship’ fraud. #Lent #40Days

It begs the question: Are you a fraud?

“Herod then arranged a secret meeting with the scholars from the East. Pretending to be as devout as they were, he got them to tell him exactly when the birth-announcement star appeared. Then he told them the prophecy about Bethlehem, and said, “Go find this child. Leave no stone unturned. As soon as you find him, send word and I’ll join you at once in your worship.” (Matthew 2:7, 8 MSG)

You are not ALONE.

Be of good cheer, you’re have overcome the world. Sounds foreign in the thick of battles and challenges doesn’t it?

Be encouraged today and know that in the midst of life’s toughest struggles, you will feel lonely and abandoned but guess what you are not alone.

In the crazy battles & struggles of life, you will feel isolated and alone but you are not alone.

We know that –
The enemy of our souls is prowling hoping to catch us napping…but not today or ever, because we are going to "Be careful—watching, I like to say we are on a "look-out", yes a look out.

The response to attacks is standing firm and trusting the Lord.
And here’s the phrase, that made my day…remembering others who like us are also fighting and going through similar struggles as well. Simply, YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

Here’s the ”catch’ (if there is one) after a ‘little’ suffering (how little? I can’t say but little), we know who is personally coming to pick us up and set us firmly in place and make us stronger than ever.

So our action & reaction (now) –
A hope-filled smile.
A cracked smile under the pressures because we see the ‘end’ from where we are standing…"To him be all power over all things, forever and ever, Amen.

And you thought you were alone…

PUSH Prayer Guide for December 6: Prayer for Relationships in 2014

Push

Today’s theme is Prayer for Relationships in 2014. As you fast and pray, meditate on the following:

a.             Pray for divine, supernatural and divine relationships in 2014 that will add, increase, and multiply you.

b.             Pray for the foresight to acknowledge, identify and maximize such relationships in 2014.

c.              Pray for divine confirmation and connections. (Luke 8:40-48)

Pray that God should give you the wisdom and strength to build godly and right relationships and to let go of non-constructive relationship. (Proverbs 13:20)
